...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN KIOWA AND
NORTHEASTERN BENT COUNTIES THROUGH 245 PM MDT...

At 218 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
John Martin Reservoir, or 23 miles east of North La Junta, moving
northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Hasty, McClave, John Martin Reservoir, Fort Lyon, and Caddoa.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
