.SYNOPSIS...High temperatures remain well above average through
Tuesday, with a trough bringing chances for showers and cooler
temperatures Wednesday through next weekend.

.SHORT TERM /TODAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY/...Our springtime dry spell
continues with high pressure over the Pac NW. Today, another dry
and mild day with temperatures in the 60s to lower 70s. There`s a
stratus deck over the Coastal Waters which may clip the coast this
morning. Some patchy low clouds are possible in the interior as
well. Low clouds will burn off by late morning. Otherwise, expect
more sunshine across the region.
Tuesday`s weather will be slightly cooler (although still above
normal) with the ridge still in place. Coastal stratus will be a
bit more intrusive with morning low level cloud coverage
expanding.
Rain and cooler weather returns on Wednesday as the ridge exits
and a trough moves in. Highs will be closer to average and in the
50s. Rain chances increase through the day with most areas seeing
measurable rain by the afternoon and evening. 33
.LONG TERM /THURSDAY THROUGH SUNDAY/...Moist W to SW flow will
continue across western WA through the end of the week for more
rain and mountain snow. An upper low will shift inland this
weekend with temperatures dipping below average. Morning lows will
drop to the upper 30s to lower 40s Sunday morning. Highs on Sunday
are in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Snow levels will be lower as
well, down to around 2000-2500 ft, with a few inches of snow over
the Cascade highway passes. 33
