323 WGUS84 KSJT 020110 FLSSJT Flood Advisory National Weather Service San Angelo TX 810 PM CDT Wed May 1 2024 TXC105-235-020300- /O.NEW.KSJT.FA.Y.0023.240502T0110Z-240502T0300Z/ /00000.N.ER.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.OO/ Crockett TX-Irion TX- 810 PM CDT Wed May 1 2024 ...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM CDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Crockett and Irion. * WHEN...Until 1000 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 809 PM CDT, thunderstorm north of highway 190 but south of Big Lake in north central Crockett county were moving towards Barnhart.Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Barnhart and The Intersection Of Us 190 And Highway 163. - This includes the following Low Water Crossings... crossings along County Road 208 and crossings along County Road 302. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
