...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 930 PM AST THIS
EVENING FOR CAMUY AND QUEBRADILLAS...

At 731 PM AST, Emergency management reported thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 5 inches of rain have
fallen. Radar indicates showers persisting across the area with
possible additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches in the warned
area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Latest
reports indicate Flash Flooding occurring in PR-119, in Piedra Gorda
in Camuy with a car trapped on the flooded road.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
