...THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE ATLANTIC WATERS AND THE MONA PASSAGE...

Satellite imagery and doppler radar indicated the development of
strong thunderstorms across the Atlantic waters and the western
waters of Puerto Rico. These thunderstorms were nearly stationary,
and are capable of producing torrential rain and waterspouts.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
