.DISCUSSION...A southwest flow will remain in place today,
maintaining relatively warm and dry conditions. Winds are expected
to increase this afternoon, and will be gusty at times. These
winds will help produce excellent mixing conditions today. A storm
system will cross the area tomorrow, bringing showers and cooler
temperatures. The showers should develop by noon. High snow levels
will maintain rain as the predominant precipitation type at the
burn site. Active weather continues Friday into Saturday, with
continued cooling and lowering of snow levels. May see up to 2
inches of snow Friday through Saturday at the burn site. Excellent
mixing will continue on Thursday, decreasing a bit on Friday, but
clearing index is expected to remain above 500.
