...WARMEST NOVEMBER LOW TEMPERATURE ON RECORD OBSERVED AT
SPRINGFIELD ON TUESDAY...

THE LOW TEMPERATURE IN SPRINGFIELD ON TUESDAY NOVEMBER 1 WAS ONLY 66
DEGREES. THIS BROKE THE DAILY WARM LOW TEMPERATURE RECORD OF 62
DEGREES SET IN 1987.

IT ALSO WAS THE WARMEST LOW TEMPERATURE ON RECORD FOR THE MONTH OF
NOVEMBER. THE OLD RECORD OF 63 DEGREES WAS SET ON 3 OCCASIONS
(NOVEMBER 2 1987...NOVEMBER 3 1938...AND NOVEMBER 6 1924).

THE NORMAL LOW FOR THE DATE IS 40 DEGREES.
