...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Kansas...

  Marais Des Cygnes River near Quenemo affecting Osage and Franklin
  Counties.

  Pottawatomie Creek near Garnett affecting Anderson County.

  Marais Des Cygnes River at Ottawa affecting Franklin County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL TOMORROW MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Marais Des Cygnes River near Quenemo.

* WHEN...Until tomorrow morning.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Lowland areas along the river flood.
  At 24.0 feet, Northbank of the river just east of South Stubbs
  Road floods.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:08 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 23.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage late this
    evening to 4.7 feet early Tuesday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Pottawatomie Creek near Garnett.

* WHEN...Until tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, Flood waters overflow the north bank and
  flood cultivated fields north of the creek.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:16 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 28.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    late tomorrow morning and continue falling to 17.0 feet
    Monday morning and to 5.2 feet Friday morning.
  - Flood stage is 26.0 feet.

* WHERE...Marais Des Cygnes River at Ottawa.

* WHEN...From this evening to tomorrow evening.

* IMPACTS...At 30.0 feet, Neosho Road east of Ottawa floods.
  At 31.0 feet, Lowland areas near the river continue to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 20.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    this evening to a crest of 31.1 feet tomorrow morning. It
    will then fall below flood stage tomorrow afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 30.0 feet.
