Clear skies and very dry air will be place tonight in wake of the
recent frontal passage. Wind speeds will, however, remain steady
most of the night somewhat limiting radiational effects. However,
a widespread light freeze is forecast with a hard freeze likely
across far NE OK into far NW AR.

Sfc high slowly passes across the region tomorrow through
tomorrow night with below normal high temperatures and another
likely freeze Monday night. Winds will begin to turn southerly and
increase late Monday night which will again limit ideal
radiational effects. However, western AR into far SE OK will have
areas which record a hard freeze.
Breezy and much warmer conditions on Tuesday with grassland fire
weather conditions a focus as moisture return is slow. Increasing
cloud cover and developing scattered showers expected Wednesday.
Rain chances with isolated storms increase Wednesday night
through Thursday as the weakening upper low tracks across the
Southern Plains.
A brief cool down on Thursday before above normal temperatures
return late in the week through next weekend. Shower and
thunderstorm chances are poised to increase at some point over the
weekend as timing of the next upper wave becomes more certain.

VFR conditions will prevail at all TAF sites through the next 24
hours. Mid/upper level clouds will gradually clear north-to-south
this afternoon with gusty north/northeast winds persisting at the
surface. Winds will subside this evening and overnight tonight
and then increase again by mid-late Monday morning.
