Details/Specifics of Change:
A GOES-15 (GOES-West) East/West Station Keeping maneuver will be
performed on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 1315 UTC. There is no
backup date for this maneuver due to the Yaw Flip planned for
March 18, 2014. If NWS Regions have any operational concerns,
please contact the NCEP SDM (301) 683-1500 at least 6 hours prior
to the maneuver time.
On March 13, 2014 the following schedule will be employed to
support maneuver operations for GOES-15 (GOES-West):
1313 UTC: GOES-15 (GOES-West) East/West Maneuver Schedule begins
1315 UTC - 1323 UTC: GOES-15 (GOES-West) No Scan Operations
1324 UTC: GOES-15 (GOES-West) Routine Scan Operations Resume
There will be no GOES-13 (GOES-East) Full Disk (30 minute)
Imaging due to the outage being less than 15 minutes.
There will be no recovery schedule for this maneuver.
