TEXAS. A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS IS STILL IN THE PICTURE, MAINLY
OVER THE MOUNTAINS AND SOUTH OF THE ARKANSAS RIVER. COOLER AIR COVERS THE
REGION, KEEPING TEMPERATURES ON THE MILD SIDE OVERNIGHT.

WEAK WESTERLY FLOW WILL DEVELOP OVER THE ROCKIES THE SECOND HALF OF THIS WEEK,
BUT THE MONSOON MOISTURE IS ALSO EXPECTED CONTINUE TO STREAM INTO THE STATE,
KEEPING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE OVER THE EXTREME SOUTHERN PARTS OF
THE STATE. TEMPERATURES SHOULD WARM SEVERAL DEGREES STARTING THURSDAY, BUT WILL
