THE MONTHLY AVERAGE TEMPERATURE WAS WELL ABOVE NORMAL...AND RANKED
AS THE 5TH WARMEST JULY ON RECORD. MONTHLY PRECIPITATION WAS
SLIGHTLY BELOW NORMAL.

A RECORD DAILY HIGH TEMPERATURE OF 100 DEGREES WAS SET ON THE
25TH...BREAKING THE OLD RECORD OF 98 SET IN 2010. THIS WAS ALSO THE
FIRST TIME A TEMPERATURE OF 100 DEGREES WAS OBSERVED SINCE JULY 18TH
2012.

THREE RECORD DAILY HIGH MINIMUM TEMPERATURES WERE OBSERVED LAST
MONTH. THE LOW TEMPERATURE OF 74 ON THE 13TH BROKE THE OLD RECORD OF
72 SET IN 2014. THE LOW TEMPERATURE OF 76 ON THE 26TH TIED THE
RECORD PREVIOUSLY SET IN 2005. THE LOW TEMPERATURE OF 75 DEGREES ON
THE 27TH BROKE THE OLD RECORD OF 73 SET IN 2006.

A RECORD DAILY LOW MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE OF 72 DEGREES WAS SET ON THE
4TH...BREAKING THE OLD RECORD OF 73 SET IN 1979.

JULY 4TH TIED FOR THE 9TH WETTEST INDEPENDENCE DAY ON RECORD.
