.SYNOPSIS...A WEAK TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE WILL REMAIN ANCHORED
ABOUT 100 NM EAST OF THE LOWER TEXAS COAST THROUGH MONDAY AS HIGH
PRESSURE RIDGE CONTINUES TO DOMINATE SOUTH TEXAS. THE RIDGE WILL
MOVE EAST TUESDAY...EXTENDING FROM THE MID ATLANTIC STATES THROUGH
THE EASTERN GULF...WHILE LOW PRESSURE DEVELOPS IN THE LEE OF THE
SIERRA MADRE RETURNING MODERATE SOUTHERLY FLOW TO THE WATERS. THE
TROUGH WILL CONTINUE THROUGH EARLY WEDNESDAY...THEN A STRONG COLD
FRONT WILL SWEEP THE WATERS WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING WITH
COLD HIGH PRESSURE RAPIDLY BUILDING IN BY THURSDAY. GALE FORCE
GUSTS WILL FOLLOW THE FRONT WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THURSDAY.
