.SYNOPSIS...
Strong high pressure will remain centered over the Carolinas and
Mid-Atlantic states through Saturday. Strong northeasterly winds
will prevail through Thursday evening, with Small Craft Advisory
conditions continuing on all area waters. Small Craft Advisories
will remain in effect offshore through at least Thursday night,
with elevated onshore winds and elevated seas expected to continue
into the weekend. A strong cold front will then approach our
region from the west on Monday, with winds shifting to a southerly
direction and chances for showers and thunderstorms increasing.
