...A FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH MIDDAY FOR SOUTHEAST
NEW MEXICO... THE TRANS PECOS... AND THE PERMIAN BASIN...

.HEAVY RAIN FELL OVER PARTS OF THE AREA LAST NIGHT THAT RESULTED
IN FLASH FLOODING. THE APPROACH OF AN UPPER LOW AND A MOIST
ATMOSPHERE WILL COMBINE TO PRODUCE ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS TODAY.
THESE STORMS MAY PRODUCE LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN. FLASH FLOODING MAY
QUICKLY FORM OVER AREAS THAT HAVE ALREADY RECEIVED HEAVY RAIN
DURING THE PAST 24 HOURS.

* FLASH FLOOD WATCH TO INCLUDE A PORTION OF SOUTHWEST TEXAS...
  INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREA...PECOS.

* UNTIL 1 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON

* RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE...WITH LOCALLY
  HIGHER AMOUNTS OF 3 INCHES.

* RAPID RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL MAY RESULT IN FLASH FLOODING
  OF FLOOD PRONE AND URBAN AREAS.
