...A FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS OF WEST CENTRAL
TEXAS THROUGH 7 PM TODAY...

.AN UPPER LEVEL SYSTEM WILL APPROACH WEST CENTRAL TEXAS TODAY.
THIS SYSTEM WILL BRING ANOTHER ROUND OF HEAVY RAINFALL TO MUCH OF
WEST CENTRAL TEXAS...BEGINNING THIS MORNING AND CONTINUING THROUGH
THE AFTERNOON HOURS. THE GROUND IS ALREADY SATURATED FROM PREVIOUS
RAINFALL. ANOTHER INCH OF RAIN IS POSSIBLE...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER
AMOUNTS POSSIBLE. THE RUNOFF PRODUCED BY THIS RAINFALL MAY RESULT
IN FLASH FLOODING...ESPECIALLY IN URBAN AREAS...LOW WATER
CROSSINGS...AND OTHER LOW LYING AREAS.

  AREAS...CONCHO...CROCKETT...IRION...KIMBLE...MASON...
  MCCULLOCH...MENARD...SAN SABA...SCHLEICHER...STERLING...SUTTON
  AND TOM GREEN.

* THROUGH THIS EVENING

* WIDESPREAD RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 INCH EXPECTED...WITH LOCALIZED
  TOTALS OVER AN INCH POSSIBLE.

* RAPID RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL MAY RESULT IN FLOODING OF
  URBAN AREAS...CREEKS...STREAMS...LOW WATER CROSSINGS...AND
  OTHER FLOOD PRONE AREAS. DO NOT DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER
  COVERS THE ROAD.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT HEAVY RAINFALL MAY LEAD TO FLASH
FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.
