THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN HONOLULU HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD ADVISORY FOR THE ISLAND OF OAHU IN HONOLULU COUNTY

* UNTIL 500 PM HST

* AT 153 PM HST...RADAR SHOWED HEAVY RAIN NEAR SCHOFIELD BARRACKS...
  OR ABOUT 18 MILES NORTHWEST OF HONOLULU. THE AREA OF HEAVY RAIN WAS
  NEARLY STATIONARY. RADAR ESTIMATES INDICATED RAINFALL RATES AROUND
  TWO INCHES PER HOUR IN THIS AREA.

* OTHER LOCATIONS IN THE ADVISORY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
  MAKUA VALLEY...WHITMORE VILLAGE...WAIALUA...MOKULEIA AND HALEIWA.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

STAY AWAY FROM STREAMS...DRAINAGE DITCHES AND LOW LYING AREAS PRONE
TO FLOODING.

RAINFALL AND RUNOFF WILL ALSO CAUSE HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS DUE
TO PONDING...REDUCED VISIBILITY AND POOR BRAKING ACTION.

DO NOT CROSS FAST FLOWING OR RISING WATER IN YOUR VEHICLE OR ON FOOT.
TURN AROUND...DON/T DROWN.
