The National Weather Service in Wilmington has extended the

* Flood Advisory for...
  Lewis County in northeastern Kentucky...

* Until 100 PM EDT.

* At 927 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported that several state
  and county roads in Lewis County remained closed due to flooding.
  This flooding is expected to slowly recede through the rest of the
  morning and early afternoon.

* Minor flooding of low-lying and poorly drained streets, highways
  and underpasses will occur. In addition, farmland near creeks,
  streams and drainage ditches will experience minor flooding.

Some locations that will experience minor flooding include...
Manchester, Vanceburg, Head of Grassy, Camp Dix, Tollesboro, Concord,
Trinity, Saint Paul, Firebrick, Carrs, Harris, Kinniconick, Tannery,
Epworth, Emerson, Ribolt, Charters, Garrison, Petersville and
Stricklett.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

To report flooding, go to our website at weather.gov/iln and submit
your report via social media, when you can do so safely.
