The National Weather Service in JACKSON KY has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Central Floyd County in southeastern Kentucky...
  Central Pike County in southeastern Kentucky...

* Until 745 AM EDT

* At 542 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated showers and thunderstorms
  containing very heavy rain. This will cause minor flooding in
  creeks and streams, roads, and roadside culverts.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Pikeville, Prestonsburg, Coal Run Village, Martin, Allen, East
  McDowell, Huddy, Meta, Jamboree, Bammer, Hippo, Fishtrap Lake,
  Garden Village, Printer, Aluba, McDowell, Betsy Layne, Dotson,
  Toonerville and Ivel.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
