...THE FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 130 PM CDT FOR
SOUTHEASTERN TERRY AND SOUTHWESTERN LYNN COUNTIES...

AT 1251 PM CDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED MOST OF THE
RAIN HAD ENDED IN TERRY COUNTY BUT SOME MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN
CONTINUED IN PARTS OF WESTERN LYNN COUNTY...ESPECIALLY NEAR THE
COMMUNITY OF NEW MOORE.  DESPITE THE DIMINISHING RAINFALL OVER MOST
OF THE WARNED AREA...RUNOFF FROM EARLIER RAINS WILL LIKELY CONTINUE
SOME FLOOD PROBLEMS FOR SOME TIME.  THE AREA AROUND NEW MOORE MAY
SEE AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 1.5 INCHES BETWEEN 1 AND 2 PM.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MOST FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. NEVER DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO
AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY TO AN UNKNOWN DEPTH. WHEN
ENCOUNTERING FLOODED ROADS MAKE THE SMART CHOICE...TURN
AROUND...DONT DROWN.
