The National Weather Service in La Crosse has extended the

* Flood Warning for...
Southern Clark County in central Wisconsin...
Central Jackson County in west central Wisconsin...

* Until 345 PM CST Wednesday

* At 331 PM CST, local law enforcement officials reported a large
ice jam where the Black River flows into Lake Arbutus, near the
Jackson/Clark county line. Water was reported over Rivera Drive
near where it meets Bush Road, making the road impassable.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...areas just
upstream of Lake Arbutus. The entire shore around Lake Arbutus and
below the Hatfield Dam could experience flooding if the jam
  suddenly moves or releases.

High water continues to flow down the Black River upstream of Lake
Arbutus. As long as the ice jam remains in place, flooding will
continue or remain a risk around Lake Arbutus.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.
