...The National Weather Service in Portland has issued a flood
warning for the following rivers in Washington...

  Grays River near Rosburg affecting Wahkiakum County

River forecasts are based on observed and forecast rainfall and
temperatures, and they include current and planned reservoir

The next update for these locations will be issued by 130 pm Monday.


Turn around, don`t drown. Don`t drive into flooded areas.
Avoid walking near riverbanks during high water.


1042 AM PDT MON OCT 17 2016

The National Weather Service in Portland has issued a

* Flood Warning for
  The Grays River near Rosburg.
* until this afternoon...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 9 AM Monday the stage was...11.8 feet / 7900 cfs.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet and flood flow is 8300 cfs.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...This river is forecast to rise above flood stage
  this morning and crest around 12.1 ft midday. The river will slowly
  fall below flood stage during the afternoon and continue to fall
  for the next several days.
* Impact...Above 12 feet, expect some flooding of roads along and near
  the Grays River, including roadway approaches to the Altoona Bridge
  over the Grays, and portions of Covered Bridge Road, Barr-Durrah
  Road, and Loop Road near Rosburg and Hwy 4.
