Fire Weather Forecast for Northeast and North Central Colorado
National Weather Service Denver/Boulder CO
343 AM MDT Sun Jun 25 2017

.DISCUSSION...Today and tonight...High pressure over the Central
Plains will keep a cool and moist easterly flow over eastern
Colorado. It may become unstable enough for isolated thunderstorms
this afternoon and evening. Locations west of the Front Range
mountains will warmer and drier with relative humidity falling
into the teens in the mountain valleys.

LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Monday through Thursday...High pressure
ridge aloft will shift over Colorado on Monday and then into the
central plains on Tuesday and Wednesday. Expect warmer
temperatures through Tuesday with just a slight chance of showers
and thunderstorms mainly over the mountains and far northeast
plains. Cooler temperatures and a slightly better chance of storms
on Wednesday and Thursday as an upper level trof and associated
weak cold front moves across the area.

...Thunderstorms imply strong gusty erratic winds...
...All surface winds are 20-Foot...10-Minute averaged winds...
...CWR is Chance of Wetting Rain - 0.10 inch or more liquid...
...24 HR Trends are based on averages over the respective zone
groups and may not match the actual forecast values
                    shown in those groups...
