Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Northern Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
219 PM CDT Sat Sep 23 2017

.DISCUSSION...

Isolated showers and thunderstorms this afternoon will end
shortly after sunset. Surface high pressure will keep winds weak
and temperatures warm through the forecast period. However, a few
showers/storms are possible again Sunday afternoon, but a higher
chance exists in the western portion of the forecast area.
Dispersions will range from fair to generally good with transport
winds remaining below 10 mph and mixing heights generally less
than 8,000 ft through Monday.

Fog potential over the next few days: Patchy fog is possible late
Saturday night into Sunday morning, especially in the sheltered
locations and where rainfall occurs this afternoon.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None at this time.
