Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Northern Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
252 PM CST Mon Feb 20 2017

.DISCUSSION...

Strengthening low level southerly to southwesterly flow and forcing
will occur on Tuesday ahead of an area of low pressure pushing into
northwestern Alabama. Relative humidity values will remain high on
Tuesday, as rain moves into the area in response. Combined with
mixing heights between 3000 and 4000 feet, this will allow for fair
conditions for burning on Tuesday. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph
gusting to around 20 mph are expected.

Relative humidity will remain high with lingering light showers or
drizzle on Wednesday. Lighter transport winds and lower cigs will
create worse dispersion conditions on Wednesday.

Fog potential over the next few days: Patchy fog and drizzle is
possible late Tuesday night into daybreak on Wednesday.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None Expected.
