FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NORTHERN ALABAMA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HUNTSVILLE AL
230 AM CDT SAT MAY 28 2016

.DISCUSSION...
A DISTURBANCE IS FORECAST TO MOVE THROUGH THE REGION THIS MORNING
AND CHANCES FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE HIGHER COMPARED TO THE
PAST FEW DAYS.

WARM/HOT AND MOSTLY DRY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS NORTHERN
ALABAMA FOR THE NEXT WEEK. ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS
ARE POSSIBLE MAINLY DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS EACH DAY.
MIXING HEIGHTS EACH AFTERNOON SHOULD REACH INTO THE 8-10KFT RANGE FOR
MUCH OF THE WEEK.

HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS TO OUR NORTH WITH WINDS SHIFTING TO THE NORTH.
THIS WILL SEND SLIGHTLY DRIER AIR INTO THE REGION FROM SUNDAY THROUGH
WEDNESDAY AND RH VALUES WILL RANGE FROM 28 TO 38 PERCENT. AFTER
WEDNESDAY RAIN AND THUNDERSTORM CHANCES INCREASE AS A COLD FRONT
NEARS THE REGION.
