SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE WILL REMAIN IN CONTROL OF THE LOCAL
WEATHER CONDITIONS THROUGH WEDNESDAY WITH LIGHT/VARIABLE WINDS
AND BOTH HIGH/LOW TEMPERATURES RUNNING AROUND 5-10 DEGREES ABOVE
NORMAL. DESPITE RELATIVELY HIGH MIXING HEIGHTS BOTH DAYS IN THE
5800-6800 FT RANGE...SMOKE DISPERSION WILL BE FAIR AT BEST AS
TRANSPORT WINDS REMAIN BELOW 5 MPH.

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BEGIN TO INCREASE BY THURSDAY
AFTERNOON...ESPECIALLY ACROSS THE WESTERN HALF OF NORTH ALABAMA.
THE COVERAGE OF PRECIPITATION WILL BE MOST WIDESPREAD FROM LATE
THURSDAY NIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING...WHEN A STRONG COLD FRONT
WILL SWEEP ACROSS THE REGION FROM THE NORTHWEST. SEASONABLY COOL
AND DRY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED THROUGH THE WEEKEND...WITH A
REINFORCING COLD FRONT BRINGING ANOTHER SLIGHT CHANCE OF RAIN
