FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NORTHERN ALABAMA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HUNTSVILLE AL
350 AM CDT TUE SEP 23 2014

.DISCUSSION...
STRONG SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE OHIO VALLEY AND MID
ATLANTIC REGION...WILL CONTROL THE WEATHER ACROSS NORTHERN
ALABAMA FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE WORK WEEK. A PERSISTENT
NORTHEAST TO EAST FLOW WILL KEEP DAILY HIGH/LOW TEMPERATURES
A TAD BELOW SEASONABLE NORMS THROUGH THE MID WEEK. DRY
WEATHER SHOULD CONTINUE UNTIL THE WEEKEND...WHEN RAIN
CHANCES RETURN.

MIXING HEIGHTS AROUND 5500 FEET AGL...AND 5-10 MPH TRANSPORT
WINDS WILL RESULT IN FAIR TO GENERALLY GOOD DISPERSION RATES.
SLIGHTLY HIGHER MIXING HEIGHTS SHOULD BRING GENERALLY GOOD
DISPERSION FOR THE MID WEEK.
