Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central Kentucky and Southern Indiana
National Weather Service Louisville KY
324 PM EDT Fri Oct 20 2017

.DISCUSSION...High pressure in control today will slide east of the area
tomorrow, bringing slightly stronger surface and transport winds to the
area. In addition, mixing heights look to improve slightly from today by
tomorrow afternoon. Minimum relative humidity values should drop into the
35-45 percent range for much of the area under mostly sunny to partly sunny
skies. The next chance for rain arrives by afternoon across SW Indiana and
west central KY, and by Monday morning for the rest of southern IN and
central KY. Overall, most spots are expected to pick up between an inch
and 1.5 inches through Tuesday.
