THE COLDER AIR THAT PUSHED ACROSS THE MISSISSIPPI VALLEY REGION ON
SATURDAY WILL DOMINATE THE REGION THROUGH MONDAY...PRODUCING
NEAR NORMAL LATE DECEMBER TEMPERATURES WITH HIGHS IN THE 30S AND LOWS
IN THE 20S.  ANOTHER SURGE OF MUCH COLDER ARCTIC AIR WILL BRING THE COLDEST
AIR OF THE WINTER TO THE AREA FROM MONDAY NIGHT INTO MIDWEEK.  THE COLDEST
TEMPERATURES WILL BE TUESDAY NIGHT AND WEDNESDAY...WITH LOWS IN THE SINGLE
DIGITS AND TEENS AND HIGHS ONLY IN THE 20S.  THE NEXT THREAT OF WIDESPREAD
PRECIPITATION WILL BE FRIDAY THROUGH SATURDAY AS A STORM SYSTEM PUSHES INTO
