FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR UPPER MICHIGAN
National Weather Service Marquette MI
530 AM EDT Wed Apr 26 2017

...Wet weather will continue into Thursday with wintry weather in the
west and spring weather elsewhere...

.DISCUSSION: A low pressure system will bring widespread precipitation
across Upper Michigan into Thursday morning as it tracks across the
Upper Great Lakes. There will be enough cold air for wintry
precipitation over western Upper Michigan by this evening to cause
some ice accumulations on trees and elevated objects. Total
precipitation into Thursday afternoon will exceed 1 inch
in most areas with some areas seeing over 2 inches. Mainly dry
weather will return Friday into Saturday but more widespread
precipitation will arrive late in the weekend.
