National Weather Service Portland OR
904 AM PDT Thu Mar 23 2017

.BROADCAST DISCUSSION...Rain returns to the coast late this
afternoon and inland tonight. Gusty coastal wind late afternoon
through evening. Thunderstorms possible Friday. Wet pattern
continues through the weekend. A few dry days possible early next
week.

.DISCUSSION...Rain will return to the coast late this
afternoon and inland tonight as a front moves through. A cool
upper trough will bring a slight chance of thunderstorms over much
of the area Friday afternoon to early evening. However given the
expected vertical wind profile, thunderstorms could be quite
active east of the coast range. Wet pattern continues through the
weekend. A few dry days possible early next week. HIGA
