Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
1128 AM MST Thu Feb 22 2018

.Discussion...

An upper level disturbance will be exiting the area this
afternoon with decreasing chances for snow over the mountains
and lower elevations, but there will still be some snow
showers through the afternoon, especially over and near the
higher elevations.

There will be additional chances for snow over the district
later Friday into Saturday, Saturday night into Sunday and
possibly again next Wednesday.

Near critical fire weather conditions will be possible across
the plains at times during this period due to continued dry
fuels and intermittent windy periods.

Ventilation rates will generally be good or better over most
of the district today although most of the plains along and
north of Highway 50 will see poor ventilation. On Friday,
ventilation will generally be good or better everywhere.
