...Yellowstone np and Teton dispatch areas (includes fire weather
Zones 140...414...415...AND 416)...

Cool and unsettled through the period. Isolated thunderstorms across
140 into early this evening. Scattered snow showers into
Wednesday afternoon before another significant storm brings more
accumulating snow (some quite heavy in the mountains) as early as
Wednesday night and continuing at times through Friday. Unsettled
weather will continue through at least this weekend and possibly
into early next week before any significant warming and drying trend.

...Rawlins dispatch area (includes fire weather zones
277...278...279...and 289)...

Windy into this evening and again tomorrow afternoon with a chance
of snow showers or mixed rain and snow the remainder of the
afternoon before decreasing and ending. A new storm system will
begin to take shape Thursday into Friday. A few showers will return
to the parts of 277 and 278 later tomorrow increasing Wednesday
night. Some rain will mix with or turn to snow early Thursday in 277
and northwest 278. Precipitation will gradually increase and spread
into 279 Thursday into Thursday night...lingering into Friday. Gusty
to strong winds will return on Wednesday afternoon and early evening
to much of the area. Min rh`s will be in the 20s across 279 with 30s
elsewhere. It will continue to moisten up into Thursday and Friday
with a decent shot of cold rain or even a period of snow Thursday
through Friday.

Isolated thunderstorms across the far northern part of the district into
early this evening.

Windy conditions will continue into this evening across the western
and southern sections and then return again by Wednesday afternoon
to roughly the same area. There will be some elevated fire weather
conditions with min rh`s in the 20s and periods of strong west wind
through Wednesday. However, it will only warm into the 60s
Wednesday. A new storm system will move in Thursday into Friday with
widespread precipitation spreading across most of the area. It will
also be quite chilly with lowering snow levels into the foothills
late Thursday night and again Friday night above 5500 to 6000 feet.
Widespread precipitation amounts of
.25 to .50 are expected across the lower elevations by Friday
afternoon with .50 to as much as 1.50 inches in the mountains (most
of that snow).

Isolated thunderstorms possible into early this evening across northern
281.

Windy conditions will continue into this evening across the southern
sections and then return again by Wednesday afternoon. There will be
some elevated fire weather conditions with min rh`s in the 20s and
periods of strong west wind through Wednesday. However, it will only
warm into the 60s Wednesday. A new storm system will move in later
Thursday into Friday with widespread precipitation spreading slowly
southeast across most of the area. It will remain warm one more day
in 280 with temperatures warming into the 70s across the southeast
half of the zone with windy conditions and min rh`s in the 20s.
Further north and west a cold front will be dropping temperatures
and bringing in a few showers. It will turn cooler Friday with a
chance of rain showers and higher elevation snow. Most areas will
only see light amounts of precipitation through Friday.
