FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR WEST VIRGINIA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CHARLESTON WV
741 PM EDT FRI APR 18 2014

.DISCUSSION...
A WEAK COLD FRONT MAY PROVIDE A FEW SPRINKLES ACROSS THE FAR NORTHERN
COUNTIES THIS EVENING...BUT MAIN EFFECT WILL CONTINUE TO BE CLOUD
COVER FOR MUCH OF THE EVENING AND OVERNIGHT. THIS WILL HELP TO KEEP
OVERNIGHT LOW TEMPERATURES ON THE WARM SIDE AGAIN...AS COMPARED TO
PREVIOUS NIGHTS.

THE EASTER WEEKEND LOOKS TO REMAIN DRY...AND WARM...AS A STORM STAYS
ALONG THE SOUTHEAST COAST...AND HIGH PRESSURE REGAINS ITS GRIP
ACROSS THE AREA.

WARM TEMPERATURES CONTINUE ON MONDAY...AHEAD OF AN APPROACHING COLD
FRONT

THAT FRONT SHOULD CROSS EARLY TUESDAY WITH SHOWERS...AND POSSIBLY A
THUNDERSTORM ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS. TEMPERATURES BEHIND THE COLD
FRONT WILL BE SLIGHTLY COOLER FOR MID WEEK. TEMPERATURES WARM
AGAIN...LONG ABOUT NEXT THURSDAY AND FRIDAY.
