Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Western Washington
National Weather Service Seattle WA
812 AM PDT Sun Jun 25 2017

...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM PDT THIS EVENING...

Current warnings/watches...none.

.DISCUSSION...Today will be the hottest day in the interior lowlands,
with high temperatures in the 90s from Seattle south. The coast will
cool into the low 80s. Minimum RH values will be in the 20s and 30s.
Fuel moisture is nowhere near critical levels, except for fine fuels
in the lowlands. There is still snow on the ground above about 4000
feet, so fire danger in the mountains remains low. Increasing onshore
flow will bring a return to more normal June weather beginning
Monday. Next week there will be morning clouds each day, with sunny
afternoons. High temperatures will be in the 70s to low 80s, with
higher RH values as well. No lightning is forecast on any day.

Forecast for 20 foot wind speed (valleys and ridge tops) are 10
 minute averages reflecting RAWS winds.
