Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southwest Arkansas...
Northwest Louisiana...East Texas...and Extreme Southeast Oklahoma
National Weather Service Shreveport LA
702 AM CST Sun Feb 19 2017

.DISCUSSION...
Low clouds and patchy dense fog will continue to plague the area
fire districts through the morning hours before slowly improving
as we approach midday. Temperatures will climb into the upper 70s
to lower 80s over our southern districts while slightly cooler
temps will occur farther north across southeast Oklahoma and
southwest Arkansas. Rain chances to increase across much of east
Texas late Sunday night through early Monday morning with showers
and thunderstorms expanding eastward throughout the day on Monday.
East to southeast winds around 5 to 10 mph expected through the
next 24 hours with afternoon relative humidity values ranging from
40-60 percent today and then increasing to 60-80 percent on Monday
with the onset of rain.
