FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR UTAH
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SALT LAKE CITY UT
359 AM MDT SUN MAY 24 2015

...REMAINING UNSETTLED EARLY THIS WEEK...

.BROADCAST DISCUSSION...ANOTHER COOL WET SYSTEM WILL EXIT THE
REGION TODAY. UNSETTLED CONDITIONS WILL REMAIN IN PLACE FOR MUCH
OF THE UPCOMING WEEK.

.DISCUSSION...THE COOL AND WET SYSTEM THAT HAS BEEN MOVING THROUGH
THE DISTRICT WILL EXIT TODAY...THOUGH ANOTHER ROUND OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON. WEAK RIDGING WILL
TEMPORARILY DEVELOP FOR MONDAY...THOUGH SOME SHOWERS ARE STILL
POSSIBLE. A SLOW MOVING PACIFIC NORTHWEST SYSTEM WILL BRING
MOISTURE AND INSTABILITY BACK TO NORTHERN AND CENTRAL UTAH FOR THE
MIDDLE OF THE WEEK. HIGH PRESSURE IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP BY THE
UPCOMING WEEKEND AS THIS SYSTEM FINALLY EXITS THE REGION. THIS
WILL RESULT IN A DRYING AND WARMING TREND.

***THUNDERSTORMS IMPLY STRONG GUSTY AND ERRATIC WINDS***
***ALL WINDS ARE 20 FOOT...10-MINUTE AVERAGES***
