...Discussion from SFOFWFMTR...

A deepening marine layer brought some relief to the coast today
while inland areas remain hot and dry. The marine layer will
continue to deepen tonight to around 1200 feet resulting in farther
inland intrusion of the low clouds and good humidity recovery in
the valleys. Areas farther inland and above the marine layer will
continue to stay hot and dry with only moderate humidity recovery.
Temperatures will trend cooler through the weekend as the marine
layer deepens and onshore flow persists. Seasonable temperatures
are expected through the weekend and into early next week.

...Discussion from SFOFWFSTO...

Hot and dry weather will continue into Saturday. Breezy northerly
winds will decrease throughout the day today, with exception of in
the Delta. Poor humidity recovery this morning with slighty
improving conditions into the weekend. Isolated afternoon/evening
thunderstorms near the northern Sierra crest. Cooling trend Sunday
into next week.
