The fire weather pattern will change rapidly over the next several
days. Expect one last day of near normal temperatures today but with
strong northwest winds coast and hills this afternoon. Gusty north
winds develop in the hills overnight into Friday morning with
frequent gusts to 35 mph. Winds ease Friday afternoon but increase
again Friday night into Saturday morning with warm and dry offshore
winds. Much warmer and drier this weekend with temperatures into the
80s and even some lower 90s will cause rapid drying of fine fuels.
Warm and dry through at least the middle of next week.

Weakening cold front will drop southward over Norcal tonight with
scattered light precipitation ending overnight. High pressure brings
breezy and much drier and warmer conditions Thursday and into the
weekend. Strongest winds expected on Friday.
