OVERNIGHT RH RECOVERIES ACROSS RIDGES WILL CONTINUE TO BE POOR
THROUGH THE WEEKEND AS WARM AND DRY CONDITIONS PERSIST WITH
RELATIVELY LIGHT WINDS. WITH WEST TO SOUTHWEST FLOW ALOFT, ANY
THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY WILL STAY WELL EAST AND NORTH OF OUR REGION.
MOST AREAS WILL SEE A SLIGHT COOLING TREND AS THE UPPER HIGH
PRESSURE RIDGE SLIPS SLIGHTLY EASTWARD. A WEAK LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM
IS FORECAST TO FORM OFF THE CENTRAL COAST BY EARLY NEXT WEEK. THIS
SYSTEM WILL DRAW MONSOON MOISTURE NORTHWARD BACK INTO THE AREA FOR
AN INCREASING THREAT OF MOUNTAIN THUNDERSTORMS NEXT MONDAY THROUGH
MIDWEEK.
