.DISCUSSION...
After dry weather and light winds with increasing high clouds today,
an upper level trough will cross Thursday afternoon and evening with
scattered showers and thunderstorms. Rain amounts around 0.20 to
0.40 of an inch will be possible in the burn area on Thursday, and
temperatures will trend downward around 5 degrees compared to
today`s readings. Winds will strengthen some Thursday, then gusts
near 25 mph should develop on Friday as another upper level trough
crosses the northern and central Rockies. Much cooler temperatures
are expected with a Pacific cold front on Saturday, when northwest
wind gusts may reach 30-35 mph.
