...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY MORNING THROUGH
SUNDAY EVENING...

.DISCUSSION...
Today will be a similar to yesterday (Friday) with regards to
clouds and winds. Gulf moisture will continue to feed into a
developing surface low across the Central High Plains. This will
keep humidity levels at or above 40 percent this afternoon. The
winds will remain southerly through the day generally in the 10
to 14 mph range along with some gusts in excess of 20 mph. Low
level moisture will remain high tonight and low clouds will return
overnight and remain in place through Sunday. A dryline will
move across the region late Sunday morning and bring sharply
falling relative humidities along with increasing southwesterly
winds. This combination will result in a high fire threat,
especially Sunday afternoon.
