This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Thunderstorms will redevelop into the evening hours. Some of the
storms may be severe with damaging thunderstorm winds and large
hail. A isolated tornado may also occur.

Locally heavy rainfall may lead to urban street flooding and
rises on small streams and creeks with the potential for flash
flooding.

A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for the area through Saturday
morning.  Please refer to the National Weather Service website at
weather.gov/desmoines for further details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Additional thunderstorms are possible by late Wednesday and
Thursday.

An Excessive Heat Warning is in effect for the area through
Saturday. Please refer to the National Weather Service website at
weather.gov/desmoines for further details.

Thunderstorms will be possible into the evening hours. A few of
the storms may be severe mainly east of Interstate 35 and north
of Highway 34 with large hail and damaging thunderstorm winds the
main threats. A few tornados may also occur with thunderstorms
along and north of Interstate 80.

Locally heavy rainfall may lead to urban street flooding and
rises on small streams and creeks with some of the stronger
storms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday
