CHESAPEAKE BAY...TIDAL POTOMAC RIVER...AND ADJACENT COUNTIES IN
CENTRAL MARYLAND AND NORTHERN VIRGINIA AS WELL AS THE DISTRICT OF
COLUMBIA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

A RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH 6 PM FOR PORTIONS OF
NORTH-CENTRAL MARYLAND. THE COMBINATION OF GUSTY WINDS...LOW
RELATIVE HUMIDITY AND LOW FUEL MOISTURE HAS ENHANCED THE THREAT
FOR THE SPREAD OF WILDFIRES ACROSS PORTIONS OF NORTHEASTERN
MARYLAND.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR THE WATERS FRIDAY
AFTERNOON...AND HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO INCLUDE PORTIONS OF THE
CHESAPEAKE BAY FRIDAY NIGHT. THIS MAY NEED TO BE EXTENDED THROUGH
SATURDAY NIGHT.

A STRENGTHENING SOUTHERLY FLOW MAY CAUSE MINOR COASTAL FLOODING
FRIDAY NIGHT...ESPECIALLY FOR SENSITIVE AREAS ALONG THE WESTERN
SHORE OF THE MARYLAND CHESAPEAKE BAY.
