  COASTAL WATERS FROM PORT FOURCHON LA TO LOWER ATCHAFALAYA RIVER LA
  OUT 20 NM...
  COASTAL WATERS FROM PORT FOURCHON LOUISIANA TO LOWER ATCHAFALAYA
  RIVER LA FROM 20 TO 60 NM...

AT 303 PM CST...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS...CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS TO AROUND 30 KNOTS. THESE
THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM EUGENE ISLAND
30 TO 8 NM NORTHEAST OF SHIP SHOAL 198 TO 18 NM SOUTHEAST OF SHIP
SHOAL 295... MOVING EAST AT 20 KNOTS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

THESE ARE STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WHICH WILL LIKELY PRODUCE WINDS TO
AROUND 30 KNOTS...AND COULD POSE A SERIOUS HAZARD FOR BOATERS. A
SPECIAL MARINE WARNING MAY EVENTUALLY BE REQUIRED WHEN THESE STORMS
REACH THE NEARSHORE WATERS. BOATERS SHOULD CONSIDER HEADING FOR
SHORE BEFORE THESE STORMS ARRIVE.
