...SOUTHWEST GALES POSSIBLE OVER CENTRAL LAKE HURON TONIGHT AND
EARLY SATURDAY...

.SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL STRENGTHEN THIS EVENING AS STRONG HIGH
PRESSURE OVER THE OHIO VALLEY SHIFTS EAST AND LOW PRESSURE DROPS
THROUGH ONTARIO. A PERIOD OF PEAK WINDS IN EXCESS OF 20 KNOTS ARE
EXPECTED THROUGHOUT LAKE HURON BY TONIGHT. THE POTENTIAL DOES
EXIST FOR GUSTS TO APPROACH MARGINAL GALES ACROSS CENTRAL PORTIONS
OF THE LAKE TONIGHT THROUGH EARLY SATURDAY. A GALE WATCH IS NOW IN
EFFECT FOR THIS CORRIDOR. IN ADDITION...A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IS
NOW IN EFFECT FOR SAGINAW BAY WHERE WAVES WILL BUILD IN EXCESS OF
4 FEET. A DIMINISHING GRADIENT WILL PROVIDE A GRADUAL DECREASE
OF SOUTHERLY WIND SPEEDS SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY.

AFTERNOON TO 4 PM EST SATURDAY.

* WIND AND WAVES: DURING THE SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY...EXPECT
  SUSTAINED WINDS UP TO 26 KNOTS FROM THE SOUTHWEST WITH GUSTS
  UP TO 28 KNOTS. THE LARGEST EXPECTED SIGNIFICANT WAVES WILL
  BE 5 FEET WITH A POTENTIAL MAXIMUM WAVE HEIGHT OF 7 FEET.

* TIMING: THE MAXIMUM WINDS ARE EXPECTED AROUND 12 AM SATURDAY
  WITH THE LARGEST WAVES EXPECTED AROUND 12 AM SATURDAY.

VESSELS SHOULD AVOID NAVIGATING IN THESE CONDITIONS.

ADDITIONAL LEAD TIME FOR MARINERS WHO MAY WISH TO CONSIDER
