...Increasing Winds and Waves Expected This Afternoon and Tonight...

.A tightening pressure gradient between departing high pressure
and approaching low pressure will cause increasing northeast to
east winds this afternoon and night. Wave heights will build to
over 4 feet in some areas by late afternoon, and as high as 7
feet Thursday night. Wind gusts to 25 knots are expected Thursday
night as well.

...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 3 PM THIS
AFTERNOON TO 8 AM CST FRIDAY...

* WINDS: Northeast winds 10 to 15 knots becoming east and
  increasing to 15 to 25 knots tonight.

* WAVES: 2 to 4 feet tonight building to 3 to 5 feet late afternoon
  and 4 to 7 feet Thursday night.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 21 to 33 knots
are expected to produce hazardous wave conditions to small craft.
Inexperienced mariners...especially those operating smaller
vessels should avoid navigating in these conditions.
