FAR WEST TEXAS TONIGHT AND OVERNIGHT...

.AN APPROACHING STRONG PACIFIC STORM SYSTEM WILL FOCUS STRONG
WINDS ALOFT OVER THE REGION AND TIGHTEN SURFACE GRADIENTS TO
STRENGTHEN SURFACE WINDS. SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL CONTINUE AROUND
25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 50 MPH OVER HIGHER TERRAIN THIS
EVENING BUT DIMINISH BY AROUND MIDNIGHT. HOWEVER STRONG WINDS ALONG
EAST SLOPES OF MOUNTAINS MAY WELL LAST INTO THE EARLY MORNING
HOURS OF FRIDAY.
