THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING...
...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FOR SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO...THE VAN
HORN AND HIGHWAY 54 CORRIDOR...THE DAVIS MOUNTAINS...THE UPPER
TRANS PECOS AND THE CENTRAL AND WESTERN PERMIAN BASIN THIS
.Yet another upper level storm system will bring strong winds to
the region today. The Guadalupe Mountains will see the highest
winds, but strong winds will also spread east into the plains.
Winds will likely diminish soon after sunset.

and Pine Springs

MDT THIS EVENING...
* TIMING...This afternoon and evening.
* WINDS...West 40 to 50 mph with gusts near 65 mph.
* IMPACTS...Severe turbulence near the mountains will be
hazardous for light low flying aircraft. These winds could
make driving difficult for high profile vehicles.
A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected
or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or gusts
of 58 mph or more can lead to property damage.
