...WIND ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING TO 4 AM
PST WEDNESDAY...

* TIMING...Winds will increase late this morning, peak during the
  afternoon and continue most of the night then gradually
  decrease early Wednesday morning.

* WINDS...South-southwest winds gusting 40 to 50 mph can be
  expected within Red Rock Canyon. Gusts of 55-65 mph will occur
  in exposed areas of the Spring Mountains above 7000 feet.

* IMPACTS...Winds gusting over 40 mph can make driving
  difficult...especially for high profile vehicles on east-west
  oriented roads.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drivers of vans...campers...trailers...and other high profile
vehicles should be alert to the danger of these winds.
