...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 8 PM
PDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...West winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 50 mph in the
  Owens Valley and up to 65 mph in the Eastern Sierra slopes.

* WHERE...Eastern Sierra Slopes and Owens Valley.

* WHEN...From 1 PM this afternoon to 8 PM PDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Winds this strong can make driving difficult or
  hazardous for high profile vehicles and motorcyles. Gusty winds
  will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down
  and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Sudden crosswinds up to 50 mph can be
  expected on sections of Highway 395 especially near the Sierra
  foothills.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use extra caution when driving high profile vehicles or motorcycles.
