.Synopsis... Strong high pressure passing north of the waters will
shift eastward through Friday. Ridge to the north will weaken over
the weekend as low pressure, currently near Midway, lifts
northeastward.

Hawaiian waters within 40 nautical miles including the channels-

...GALE WARNING FOR MAALAEA BAY...THE PAILOLO AND ALENUIHAHA
CHANNELS...AND THE WATERS SOUTH OF THE BIG ISLAND...

.REST OF TONIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT...East winds 25 to 35
knots, highest over the channels and south of the Big Island.
Wind waves 10 to 15 feet. Northwest swell 7 to 10 feet tonight,
becoming north 5 to 7 feet late Thursday and Thursday night.
Southeast swell 3 feet. Isolated showers.
.FRIDAY...East winds 15 to 25 knots around Kauai, 20 to 30 knots
elsewhere. Wind waves 8 to 13 feet. Swell north 3 to 4 feet and
southeast 3 feet. Scattered showers.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...East winds 10 to 20 knots around Kauai...east
20 to 25 knots elsewhere. Wind waves 7 to 11 feet. Mixed swell
north 5 feet and southeast 4 feet. Scattered showers.

.FRIDAY...W of 160W, E to SE winds 10 to 20 kt. Elsewhere, E to
SE winds 15 to 25 kt. Seas 9 to 13 ft.
