THE LATEST STORM SYSTEM TO IMPACT THE FORECAST AREA LEFT SEVERAL
INCHES OF NEW SNOW ACROSS THE NORTHERN MOUNTAINS OF WESTERN
COLORADO.  SNOW FELL FROM SUNDAY EVENING THROUGH AROUND SUNRISE
MONDAY MORNING, WITH ACCUMULATING SNOW AS LOW AS 6870 FEET. IN THE
STORM SYSTEMS WAKE, 3 TO 6 INCHES OF NEW SNOW HAD FALLEN OVER THE
ELKHEAD AND PARK MOUNTAINS, WITH 9 INCHES ESTIMATED AT THE TOWER
SITE 7 MILES NORTH NORTHWEST OF RABBIT EARS PASS; UP TO 6 INCHES
FELL ACROSS THE FLATTOPS; AND UP TO ONE INCH FELL OVER THE GORE AND
ELK MOUNTAINS.
