THE ONGOING CALIFORNIA-NEVADA DROUGHT, WHICH STARTED IN LATE 2011,
ONCE AGAIN RESULTED IN BELOW NORMAL SEASONAL SNOWFALL AT HIGH
MOUNTAIN ELEVATION STATIONS IN THE AREA.

- MOUNT CHARLESTON -

THE TOTAL SEASONAL SNOWFALL FOR MOUNT CHARLESTON, NEVADA FOR THE
2014-2015 SNOW SEASON, WHICH RUNS FROM JULY 1ST THROUGH JUNE 30TH,
WAS ONLY 43.0 INCHES. THIS RANKS AS THE 2ND LEAST SNOWIEST SEASON ON
RECORD FOR MOUNT CHARLESTON DATING BACK TO 1980. THE 5 LEAST
SNOWIEST SEASONS ON RECORD ARE LISTED BELOW...

1. 30.2 INCHES/1983-1984
2. 43.0 INCHES/2014-2015
3. 46.6 INCHES/2013-2014
4. 49.7 INCHES/2001-2002
5. 51.2 INCHES/2012-2013

THE NORMAL SEASONAL SNOWFALL FOR MOUNT CHARLESTON IS 103.8 INCHES.
ALL SNOW IS MEASURED AT THE OFFICIAL CLIMATE STATION LOCATED ON
MOUNT CHARLESTON IN KYLE CANYON AT 7450 FEET.

THE TOTAL SEASONAL SNOWFALL FOR ASPENDELL, CALIFORNIA FOR THE
2014-2015 SNOW SEASON, WHICH RUNS FROM JULY 1ST THROUGH JUNE 30TH,
WAS ONLY 56.5 INCHES. THIS RANKS AS THE 2ND LEAST SNOWIEST SEASON
ON RECORD FOR ASPENDELL DATING BACK TO 1909 BASED ON DISCONTINUOUS
RECORDS. THE 5 LEAST SNOWIEST SEASONS ON RECORD ARE LISTED BELOW...

PRESENT AT AN ELEVATION OF 8500 FEET.
