...ELEVATED THREAT OF ERRATIC FIRE BEHAVIOR ACROSS THE EASTERN
PORTIONS OF DEEP SOUTH TEXAS FROM LATE-MORNING THROUGH THE
AFTERNOON...

WHILE RED FLAG WARNING CONDITIONS ARE NOT EXPECTED TO BE
MET, THERE IS AN ELEVATED THREAT OF ERRATIC FIRE BEHAVIOR
BEGINNING AROUND 10 AM CST AND CONTINUING THROUGH 5 PM CST. THERE
IS ALSO A THREAT FOR ENHANCED WILDFIRE GROWTH AND RAPID SPREAD
POTENTIAL.

FUELS REMAIN DRY AND CURED ACROSS THE REGION. RELATIVE HUMIDITY
VALUES TODAY ARE EXPECTED TO RANGE FROM 15 TO 25 PERCENT WITH
NORTH WINDS INCREASING TO 15 TO 20 MPH. EXTREME CAUTION IS URGED
IF BURNING TODAY.

THE THREAT WILL DIMINISH THIS EVENING AS WIND SPEEDS DECREASE.
